There isn't much subtlety in the Aroma of light vanilla and lighter wood, but the heat found in certain other Cruzan products is also lessened. This characteristic is carried over to the Taste, where caramel sweetness and flavors of toasty hazelnut predominate. With prolonged vanilla, toasty toffee, and woody-nutty overtones, the finish is moderate to lengthy. An enjoyable sipper that's decent value.
