The Ardbeg Uigeadail, pronounced properly as oog-a-dal, is one of Ardbeg Distillery’s most highly awarded bottles.The name Uigeadail was derived from the loch where the waters for Ardbeg whiskies are drawn. It’s popularity is widespread and has been named by many whisky lovers as their favorite Ardbeg! 

This bottle will give you scents of tar, coffee beans, cereal, and a fair amount of peat. Tastes of fruit, honey, and barley will take you to a strong, peaty, but at the same time sweet finish. 

The Uigeadail not only won "Whisky of the Year" award in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2009 but it stayed at the top of Jim’s top whisky list with a 97.5 rating at the 2017 whisky bible. Along with these are some of the awards that it received throughout the years:
