The Nikka Yoichi is a Japanese brand of single malt whisky that comes in light from the house of Nikka.

Nikka Yoichi single malt came from Japan's most popular and well-established whiskey distillers and was relaunched in 2016. It doesn't come up with any age statement, and the reason for the relaunch was its commercial and critical success among whisky lovers. 

The single malt is created at the company's Yoichi distillery in northern Japan. It is chosen for its climate; crisp, cool, and with a right humidity level, the region closely replicates Scotland's temperature.

The Yoichi was the very first Nikka Distillery, on the bank of the northernmost Japanese island of Hokkaido. It has come forward because of its coastal as well as peaty features that blend perfectly with its floral and fruity flavors.

If you taste it, you will experience the Scottish essence in the dram; on the other hand, it is enriched with the profile of Japanese flavor.

If you talk about the aroma, you will feel the aroma of caramelized citrus fruits and the smell of gentle peat smoke, along with the palate carrying the peat and fruit through, with the unique flavors of melon and fresh apple. You will also notice the sense of Groundnuts as well as a core ginger-tinged spice along with a marzipan background.

The finish is full of smoothness, long, and satisfying. Orchard fruits have a leading essence of the ultimate taste of the whisky – pears and apples are generally underpinned by a mature, salty quality that equalizes the sweetness.
