A 10 year blend of whiskeys they sourced and matured in ex-Cognac casks was just released after first producing a single malt, then a grain whiskey, and most recently: Egan's Conviction 10 Years Irish whiskey. Before being blended and placed in ex-Cognac casks to properly marry, the Irish whiskeys were fully aged in ex-Bourbon casks for 10 years. They came from the same unidentified whiskey distiller or distilleries as the original Egan's.

It begins out fruity and sweet, but as it develops, the undertones of spice become more prominent, and other flavors begin to emerge. It's an easy whiskey to share and is delicious. The only aspect that disappoints is how short the conclusion is.

The scent includes notes of spiced dried orchard fruit, malt, copper, vanilla, banana chips, and a faint minerality. On the nose, there are only a few faint hints and murmurs of cognac influence.

The flavor profile of the beverage includes malt, banana taffy, baking spice, dried orchard fruit, almonds, and a smidgen of raisin and candy sweetness. There is a slight increase in cognac, combined with more potent spice and richer sweetness.

Medium-short FINISH: The beverage's flavors include vanilla, baking spice, fruit, and malt. Even though I am aware that Egan's Conviction 10 Years Irish Whiskey is a tad pricey to be mixing cocktails with, I tried using it in a Tipperary, and it worked really well.

A unique and delectable flavor was produced as a result of the perfect blending of the spice flavors and vermouth's sweetness. Therefore, if you're willing to mix up "classy cocktails" with pricey alcohol, this works nicely.
